After the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Akatake brewery originally established in Otshuchi Town had been washed away and rebuilt in Morioka City in 2013. 

Ryunosuke Kodate, a talented young Toji who was awarded the best sake in Japan when he was a student. His dream was to create a beautiful sake that represents Japan.

The highest quality sake, seeks an ultimate sharpness on the pallet while retaining a Ginjo aroma and delivering the mild sweetness of rice.

The fruity notes of fresh greens, grapefruit, melon and pear appear with a wave of umami that isn’t shy. A great match with white fish sashimi and tempura, this sake tastes and pairs great with most dishes.
